I Left My Sister In San Francisco

It’s been a while since I’ve had time to make another blogpost, and I’m sure you all have been dying to hear about what’s new in my life. Last week, I spent a couple days helping my younger sister move into her apartment in San Francisco. We spent the remainder of the time exploring the city and meeting up with a couple of friends. Since my time there was short, we didn’t get to explore as much as I would have liked to but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I had a great time being away from everything that’s been bothering me, and being somewhere different.

When arrived, my sister had spent some time unpacking and rearranging her belonging. She permitted me to go explore the shops on Haight-Ashbury until it was time for us to get dinner. Despite my feeling like a huge hipster while browsing through the shops of this famous location, I enjoyed this time by myself. I looked through thrift shops, a shop full of steampunk-themed items, and tattoo parlours. I even bought a cute blouse that I will show once I lose a little more weight around my stomach area.

My trip mainly consisted of: walking, eating, and browsing stores. I even got really good boba milk tea for $2.00! That’s what I call a bargain.

The cakes in here were lovely, but I didn't feel very comfortable taking pictures of the baked goods with the cashier watching our every move.

We went inside this store and were overwhelmed by how many types of fish you could purchase here.

I thought it was neat that the books had notes beside it, helping you further decide whether or not you'd be interested in the book or not.

I would have totally bought this skirt if it weren't so pricey, and fit my waist!

There also, what seemed like, hundreds of dogs everywhere. It made me miss my own dog a lot, but it also made me want to take each one I saw home with me. :]

Saw this guy outside a shop waiting for his owner. He let us pet him! :)

All in all, I had a great time up in NorCal. I’m glad to be home, but I also can’t wait for my own school to start. It would be nice to be away from my parents again.

So long, San Francisco!
